Wild by Cheryl Strayed

WildI recommend Wild for anyone who’s also a fan of Eat, Pray, Love and other Elizabeth Gilbert writings. I enjoyed the excruciating details of Cheryl’s hiking journey, but, at times, the raw emotions and details of her bad life experiences really impacted me and took an emotional toll on me. I was constantly both impressed and stunned by her brutal honesty in this memoir. All in all, I’m glad that I read it, but I don’t plan on seeing the movie, except maybe for the scenery!
