Custard’s Last Stand by Tamar Myers

Custard's Last StandThe subtitle of this book reads A Pennsylvania Dutch Mystery with Recipes and that is what has drawn me once before to this author. The glimpse into the world of a somewhat worldly Mennonite inn keeper who is embroiled in murdered guests is certainly different, though rather cartoonish at times. I found it novel enough to seek the author out and recommend it as a light frolic through Mennonite mayhem. No heavy reading involved! The recipes included all sound delicious, if only someone would prepare them for me!

Thank you for suggesting this. I love Diane Mott Davidson books which are mystery, but since the main character is a caterer there are recipes also. I have checked out The Death of Pie by T Meyers and can’t wait to read it ( and try recipes)!
