Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

As a huge Gillian Flynn fan, I was thrilled to read Sharp Objects. I believe this novel is her best one. Similarly to all of her works, it is a psychological thriller. The main character is forced to explore her past when her boss requires that she return to her hometown to report on the recent murders of two young girls. As a result, she is faced with people from her past (most importantly– her mother). Old habits return quickly, but she refuses to leave before figuring out who is murdering these innocent (or so she thinks) children.
