I expected a lot from Jennifer Close’s Girls in White Dresses after having read other works of hers that I enjoyed. I must say, I was disappointed. The novel follows a series of three different girls. Usually I enjoy novels with many characters and varying plot lines, but instead of feeling like there were a lot of things happening, I spent the entire novel waiting for the plot to start. I did not think it was well organized and well written in the way that I would expect from Close.
