I’ve read Clive Cussler books since his first one. His recent books have been co-authored but still have the same flair for the dramatic. In this book, we have two different heroes, Austin and Zavala who have taken the place of Dirk and Al. In one scene, the two pairs meet at NUMA headquarters. As is typical of Cussler’s novels, there’s a super villain who is trying to attain world domination and our protagonists are there to stop it from happening. And of course, there’s a damsel in distress. In the meantime, they’re hopping all over the globe getting into, and out of, dire situations. If you want a book with deep thought and meaning, you’ve come to the wrong place. If you want an enjoyable summer read, this might be for you!
