I should know better, but I still fall into the “ooh, Dean Koontz! It must be good” trap. And I do recognize that authors need to stretch the bounds of reality if they wish to stay fresh as their books age. But the premise behind Mr. Murder is so unbelievable and so downright ridiculous that I just sped through the book to finish it. Trust me, I didn’t miss any important details that would have pulled this one out of the Incredulous category.
