An interesting main character and a Block Island setting saved this book from some rather clichéd writing. A not-quite-pro golfer, Lee Ofsted gets involved in murders while teaching a golfing workshop. The ending is interesting, though getting to the end seems to take a surprisingly long time. It’s fine enough for a summer/beach read, since you don’t need to worry about keeping this one to start a collection.
